Steven L. Buss

Likewise Founder & CEO

Steve is the Founder and CEO of Likewise Partners, bringing a 25-year real estate background including over $10.5 billion of acquisition, disposition, and development activity in commercial and multifamily properties as both a principal and intermediary. Prior to forming Likewise Partners in 2020, Steve led Capital Markets teams at CBRE and JLL focused on commercial and multifamily dispositions, equity placement, financing, and acquisitions. Steve has completed over 130 industrial transactions totaling 44 million square feet.

Mark Nordland

Likewise Development Partner

Mark is a Principal Development Partner with Likewise and founder of Nordland Partners. His 25 years in real estate include over $1 billion of development activity in a variety of industrial, retail, healthcare and multifamily properties. Before joining Likewise, Mark served as Sr. VP of Mixed Use Development for Life Time, an operator of athletic resort facilities. Leading all aspects of development, design and construction for Life Time Villages, he built and initiated a pipeline of over $1.5 billion. Previously, Mark was a founder of Launch Properties and lead the Minnesota development team for Ryan Companies US, Inc.

Paul Koch

Likewise Fund Advisor

Paul Koch is an advisor to Likewise Partners Industrial Fund I, LLC. He has 31 years of investment and portfolio management experience serving as the Wealth Advisor for high-net-worth families. Paul is a retired Managing Director, Private Wealth Advisor and Senior Portfolio Manager. He is a former Vice Chair of the Board and a past Chair of the investment committee for the school’s endowment. In addition, Paul is a former Chair of the Interfaith Outreach and Community Partners Board of Directors and served on the Junior Achievement of the Upper Midwest and Economic Club of Minnesota Board of Directors.
